Overall Responsibility: Assisting the Acelomital chair of steel and facade engineering ( prof Dr Ing. Christophe Odenbrit) and other researchers in carrying out investigation on various steel and composite researches.

Task:

• Creation of Finite element models for numerical simulations
• Research on steel and timber composite structures
• Digitization and creation of lecture notes for steel and composites structures
• Laboratory test on steel and timber composite structures.

Achievement :

• Took part in a research that investigated the strength of various laminated timber floor and steel beam connection through a push-out test.
• Creation of a numerical model in abaqus to simulate various steel and timber composite connections
• Digitized various Lecture materials,such as tutorial calculations for bachelor's and master's courses in steel and composite structures.

Overall Responsibility : Coordinating bidding, design and construction activites of various projects.

Task:

• Technical oversight of analysis and design activities of design team.
• Liaising with key project stakeholders such as clients/client representative, government officials, architects and other professionals for the succesful execution of projects.
• Overseeing bidding and procurement processes.
• Negotiation and award of sub contracts
• Acquisition of construction tools and equipments.
• Providing mentoring for interns and fresh engineers of the company.
• Quality control of design deliverables and construction works.

Achievments:

Detailed planning and design of the following projects:

• T-Time Petrol Station at Oniru, Lagos state (Project value: $ 950,000).
• 10 storey multi-level car park at Alausa Ikeja, Lagos state (Project value: $ 2,200,000).
• MTU library for Mountain Top University, Ogun state (Project value: $ 1,800,000).
• Yaba red line train terminal, Lagos state (Project value: $ 11,550,000).
• Oyingbo overhead bridge, Lagos state (Project value: $ 15,850,000)

Overall responsibility: Performing structural analysis, design, and drafting of building structures , telecommunication towers, drains, culverts, basins, bridges, and dam structures from concept to implementation based on the British and Eurocode standards.

Tasks:

• Conceptualization of framing layouts.
• Determination of actions on structures, and all possible load combinations based on the relevant design codes.
• Performing Structural stability analysis
• Global and local verifications of structural elements to various limit states considering first and second order effects. i.e ULS,SLS , Accidental, and fatigue.
• Production of design deliverables such as, calculation reports and structural layout and details.
• Liaised with other designers, colleagues and architects to agree on ideas that suit the architectural concept, deliver sound and economic solutions to fulfill clients' needs.
• Participated in reconnaissance survey and site monitoring .

• 130m Telecommunication Tower for Steam Broadcasting Corporation, Lekki, Lagos State (Project value: $500,000).
• Health facility for General Electric in Borno State (Project value: $1,200,000).
• Erosion control structures for Nigeria Erosion and Watershed management (NEWMAP) projects in Enugu and Calabar states (Project value: $9,300,000).
• Nigeria Oil and Gas Park Scheme (NOGAPS), Imo State (Project value: $5,250,000).
• Nigeria Export Processing Zones Authority (NEPZA), Benue State.
  (Project value: $62,280,000).
• Cargo and Terminal buildings of Anambra State International Airport (Project value: $55,250,000).

Tasks:

• Assisting senior engineers in the analysis and design of various type of structures.
• Structural detailing and modelling using AutoCad and Revit.
• Land survey activities such as setting out and leveling.
• Writing of technical reports and minutes of project meetings.
• Assisted in the development of program of work using MS project.

• Actively per-took in the design and supervision of Hastrup recreational centre, Abuja.
• Design of 6 Storey Secondary School at Guazape Abuja.
