Responsibilities included:

• Defining and executing comprehensive test plans, ensuring alignment with project requirements and business objectives.
• Collaborating with stakeholders (business users, developers, project managers) to define test objectives, acceptance criteria, and ensure effective communication throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Managing a team of testers, including resource allocation, task assignment, and performance monitoring.
• Implementing and optimizing test processes to improve efficiency, reliability, and quality.
• Will be conducting defect triage meetings, prioritizing and tracking defects to resolution, and ensuring timely communication to stakeholders.

• A Bankcard is a card issued by a financial instuon like Mastercard/Visa that cardholders can use to access their financial resources, such as a checking account or a line of credit
• All the Card related transacons between the ACQUIRER & ISSUER happens through EPSNet or BankNet
• Merchants send their Authorizaon Request to the Acquirer which in turn forwards it to the correct Issuer through EPSNET
• Issuer receives Authorizaon Request from the EPSNET & checks the status of the Cardholder & sends the Authorizaon Response to the EPSNET with either approved or declined
• The main reason for Authorizaon is to reduce the risk taken by the acquirer and/or the issuer within a financial transacon
• So, ESPNET comprises of AP's (Access Points), which handles all those Transacons
• The Transacon Messages are routed according to the ROUTING TABLES stored in all AP's
• The Master card European Authorizaon Simulator (MEAS) is a powerful, swi, easy to use tool used for tesng the Authorizaon System (EPS-Net) in an off-line mode
• The tools simulate the MasterCard environment, so customers come to market with fully tested programs
• This simulaon soware helps to test our business, data, and risk parameters in an offline environment before we incur any online tesng costs, experience producon outages or a loss of funds
• MEAS is extremely suited for execung system tests to check the correct implementaon of the MasterCard funconal specificaons
• MEAS is used to develop test cases to sasfy our own specific tesng requirements and to execute the predefined-test cases and their results viewed, in a user-friendly way
